At the Museum of Art and History,
Downtown Santa Cruz
With the Resource Center for Nonviolence
The Resource Center for Nonviolence is working with the Museumof Art and History (MAH) to present participatory art for all ages on themes of nonviolence and peace. Project Regeneration, the art and activism young adult group at theResource Center, is hosting activities for you to discover and express what nonviolence means to you.
And, the MAH is hosting its first “pop up Museum” with theResource Center too. The theme is “objects of conflict.” Objects of conflict can be things that have sparked conflicts in your personal life, or something you think has created global conflict. We would love for you to participate by bringing in an “object of conflict” or showing up to check it out. What ensues is sort of like a show and tell, where people share their objects and stories with each other.
Bring your friends or family anytime after 5 this Friday to theMuseum of Art and History, and discover nonviolence while you are discovering art.
