September/October Events

Welcome to Fall 2012! 
The Resource Center for Nonviolence’s Youth Empowerment group Project ReGeneration is functioning out of the old Resource Center for Nonviolence site, and we’re planning some exciting events for the Fall!
 
Here’s an update of some upcoming events from the RCNV:

People-powered poetry! Pedal-powered sound system!
Come share your story, poetry, music, snacks, and good vibes!
Friday October 5th 
Museum of Art History, Santa Cruz
5-9pm
We will have a small exhibition at the MaH’s History’s
First Friday event!
There will be live music, refreshments, art & community! If you are interested in helping being a host or volunteer for this event, please contact regenerate peace@gmail.com

Community BBQ!!!
Please join us for an artistically-inspired potluck BBQ hosted by RCNV’s creative new arts inspired youth program Project Regeneration. Grill Master Michael Hernandez will be grilling up lots of yummy seasonal veggies and we invite you to bring
sides such as salads, pastas, drinks and deserts, Veggie only please.  We will have brief presentations on what’s upcoming for the RCNV, musical entertainment, great socializing and fun activities as well.  We wanna see you there!

RCNV Activist Co-Op – Housemate Needed!

If you stumbled upon this page, it’s probably because you heard about the Resource Center for Nonviolence’s youth program called Project ReGeneration. We are a working  project that seeks to promote empowerment, social consciousness, and nonviolence. 

Many of our youth activists are working out of the RCNV’s old space, 515 Broadway. It functions as a co-op and intimate community space. 

There are currently 5-6 residents, and we are looking for a housemate!! If you are interested in the space please contact regenerate peace@gmail.com to set up an interview!
